Found out about Sherlock recently, got back to Toronto and watched both seasons. 

I love this guy. Like, love. 

It is depressing that the next season will only be out in 2013 (WTF Hobbit, which both of them are in), but definitely recommend watching this shiznat.

The news of him stepping down as CEO of Apple came on August 24 this year. He passed away on October 5, a mere 43 days later. So little time he had to spend time with his family before his life ended. I am sad that an amazing innovator has been lost to us, and am grieved that his life on earth ended at the young age of 56. 

Rest in peace, Steve.
